I specialize in the legal implementation of the GDPR — I assess the current compliance status, identify areas that require improvement, and prepare the necessary documentation, registers, and recommendations. I have implemented GDPR in companies from various industries, including automation, medical equipment distribution, and digital marketing.
GDPR Audits
I conduct GDPR audits — reviewing documentation, procedures, registers, and the overall level of awareness. I always aim to help clients maintain the highest standards of GDPR compliance.
Legal Opinions
I analyze specific data protection issues and formulate recommendations for clients. I strive to ensure that clients not only understand the legal basis of my recommendations but also receive guidance presented in clear, business-friendly language.
Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) & Risk Analysis
I assess the risks associated with planned data processing activities, evaluating potential threats to both the data controller and the data subjects.
Data Transfer Advisory
I particularly enjoy resolving complex issues related to data transfers to third countries. The more challenging the problem, the more engaging it is for me. I have frequently advised on selecting cloud solutions involving data transfers to the U.S., issuing legal opinions and conducting risk assessments.
Representation before the Data Protection Authority
I support clients in their interactions with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), including breach notifications and ongoing correspondence, and represent them in disputes with the supervisory authority.
Data Protection Officer (DPO)
As a DPO, I ensure that all data protection-related projects involve my participation and receive my final approval.
Training
I conduct training sessions on personal data protection — both general GDPR overviews and targeted sessions for specific groups, such as sales, customer service, and HR teams.
